Pip Collyer

Pip Collyer has been drawing and painting for nearly 50 years, initially in his spare time and latterly on a full time basis. He tries to draw every day. His pencil, pen and wash, watercolour and pastels cover a broad range of subjects from cityscapes through colourful abstracts to nude studies.

Almost 15 years ago he became interested in sculpture. He enjoys carving limestone and alabaster, also working in clay which is then cast into bronze resins. He creates both figurative and abstract sculptures based on the human form or rounded organic shapes.
