Anna Dennis

Born in the UK 1977 Anna Dennis lives and work in Italy.  Specialising in traditional oil painting techniques she expresses her ideas by documenting life that surrounds her.

Recently, her work has involved the documentation of quotidian objects that exist in her personal space. In her work she reconsructs everyday life such as disregarded objects and personal belongings that are unoticable in a glance, but help create the clutter and character of our homes.  When transferred onto the canvas these objects develop into important themes that are combined with the metaphors of everyday life.
